Doggie Dumplings Recipe

By popular demand……… All the dogs are loving these homemade treats. Easy to make, make into any size, smell yummy, and the dogs scarf them down. As per the dog experts, no onion, garlic, or the common allergen for dogs, corn.

Doggie Dumplings

(Chicken, Cheddar, & Apple)

1 1/2 cup Flour

1 loose cup Shredded Cheddar

1 Egg

1/4 cup Shoertening

1 tsp Baking Soda

1 4oz jar Chicken & Apple Baby Food (check label:  no onion, garlic, or corn starch)

Mix all ingredients in a bowl until it forms a dough using spatula or hands. More flour may be needed. Roll into bite size balls, adjust for your dog’s size. Place on non-stick or greased cookie sheet. (Optional: Use egg wash on top if you want a shiny finish.) Bake for 12 minutes for small dumplings & longer for larger dumplings/Until golden brown.

Makes about 100 small dog dumplings
